God’s Grace

There is no greater gift you could ever receive than the gift of God’s grace. Through His abundant love and mercy, God has extended the gift of grace to all who are willing to accept it. It’s a simple, yet profound concept that we as Christians can become so accustomed to that we forget the weight of its meaning. The Bible clearly states that, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 NIV) The punishment for sin is death and separation from our Heavenly Father as stated in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NIV) Indeed, the gift of God is forgiveness from sin through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” (Ephesians 1:7 NIV)

However, accepting God’s grace is a choice. We have the final say. Have you accepted God’s grace? Do you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior, who paid the price of your sin? If not, then what is holding you back? If yes, then you can celebrate with joy because you are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven and you are forgiven. No matter what burdens you’ve carried, your sin debt is paid in full. Once and for all you are free, and you will spend eternity in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven with the Father who loves you lavishly. Now that, my friends, is GRACE!

In Him we have redemption through His blood…

Ephesians 1:7 NIV

God’s grace and mercy are so abundant! Today was the first Sunday we were able to return to our church community in person and actively participate in the outward signs instituted by Christ to give grace! Participation in the Supper of the Lamb! How blessed we are by His grace and mercy!
